The combination of Inglewood Farms and Mirage Plains creates a unique Organic Hub which operates a closed loop across the poultry and farming operations. Mirage Plains’ grain production is supplied to Inglewood Farms to support its expanding production, ensuring security of feed and enhancing the organic integrity of Inglewood’s products. In addition, there is a comprehensive compost program, comprising of manure and processing waste at Inglewood Farms which delivers organic fertiliser to Mirage Plains to enhance crop production and land fertility.

Grain and fertiliser are, respectively two of the largest expenses for a poultry producer and a grain farmer. They also represent key inputs for which security of supply is a key risk for many producers, and a market entry barrier. The Organic Hub closed-loop model is a significant differentiator for RMWAH.
